Creating The Perfect Day: 6 Steps to Actually Doing What You Have Prioritized

Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do; excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.” If you have habits in your business that you’d like to change, you’re not alone. It’s important to question any bad habits. Don’t buy into the myth that, “This is how it must be done.” Don’t get stuck in the past. Be willing to develop brand new habits today, starting with these six steps to achieving your priorities:

  1. Review your schedule.
  2. Fast forward to the accomplishment of the priority. Tap into the positive emotion of the completed task.
  3. Link the action to what’s important to you.
  4. Take action at the time you have the priority scheduled.
  5. Reflect and react.
  6. Keep your attitude positive whether you succeed or fail.

What your day will be like is up to you. You are the chooser of your day. You are the decider of your destiny. You choose your priorities and the principles that make them happen. What kind of day will you choose for yourself?
